Alright, do we need a recap? Oh gosh I don’t know where the first movie ended and this one started it was literally end credit roll click 3 buttons new movie start and now we’re here. It’s all a big blur but I’ll try my best. Alright, so Katniss is the champion, her and Gale with a camera crew….okay stop damn I didn’t talk about these guys last time. How awesome are the film crew characters. I mean they are deserters from the capitol who are out for the rebellion and one of them legit has no tongue so doesn’t talk the whole time but you ALWAYS know exactly what he’s doing or talking about. Talent people talent also big mention to Natalie Dormer because yesssss badass! Continue reading Movie Review: The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 2 (2015)

I do enjoy how this movie started at the exact moment that the previous one ended because damn that cliff hanger though. Air lifting an unconscious Katniss out of the hunger games stadium as it collapsed around her and then the realisation that they saved her and not Peeta wow wasn’t that a great scene. And now here we are in district 13 where Katniss is in a recovery wing suffering from nightmares then finds out that the Capital doesn’t just have Peeta and also btw your home has been destroyed but hey cool won’t you be out hero?

You just have to feel for Katniss hey, she has been through so much and yet here’s this other president who is like yeah hi we need a champion oh and btw the Game Keeper yeah he’s my plus one and I’m a good president you can trust me……oh man Continue reading Movie Review: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (2014)

Hunger Games 2 everyone….that’s right this movie marathon (thanks Netflix….feel free to sponsor me) is continued. So where did we leave off? Oh yes Katniss & Peeta won the games, President Snow showed his evil-er side with the game keeper and everyone went back home to live in the weird mostly empty Victory Village in district 12. Oh and if anyone calls spoilers for this recap my only response is why are you reading a review about a sequel if you haven’t seen the first one??
